 How many Linux certifications are available?
There currently 3 linux certifications are avaiable. Those are LPI (www.lpi.org), Sair Linux Certification (www.linuxcertification.com), and Linux+ certification. You can only find LPI certification articles here. The objective of LPI certification also contains not all but many other Linux certification objectives. For thar reason the articles contained here can be a good source even for other Linux certifications.

 2.4. Create Partitions and Filesystems
This objective involves creation of file systems using mkfs and disk partitions using fdisk. You should understand the filesystems and devices naming conventions. [ Read ... ]

 2.4 Maintain the Integrity of Filesystems
You must be prepared to work with fsck command to fix the possible problems which may occur at the system. You should also know how to use df and du commands to get information about the disk usage. [ Read ... ]
